We have had an incredible weekend here at A-Class Training. When I say that we have heard from hundreds of you, I am not exaggerating. I feel like the Taylor Swift of the blogging world but without the talent, the billions, the figure or the charisma. Otherwise, we´re virtually identical. Anyway, I digress.
OK, we get it now! Executive Assistants want resources!
We have been so focused on providing you with what we thought you needed, that we forgot to do the basic thing of actually finding out what you wanted but boy, have we found out. You have told us in no uncertain terms, that what Executive Assistants want is somewhere to share resources, including templates, checklists, recommendations training materials. One central resource where you can find what you need without having to look through a million different articles, download a billion different templates, and then find nothing that you want. So that´s what we´re going to do.
We´ve set up a brand new section in our forum for you to share all of your resources, and we´ll be sharing ours as well. Anyone can download the files you make available so please make sure that there´s nothing sensitive on there. We decided to make the uploads available to members only (don´t worry, membership is free, we won´t bombard you with spam AND we only send out a newsletter once a week. You can even opt out of it if you want. We´ll cry, but we´ll let you.) I know this seems counterintuitive, but otherwise, we risk the forum being spammed with anything and everything, and we want to be able to prevent that, as I´m sure you understand.
Every single member will be able to upload up to ten files a day to share with their colleagues around the world, exactly like you said you wanted to be able to do. If you have more than 10 files a day to share then please just contact us and we can do it for you. We´ll also study you for your super-human abilities as we´ll have to find out your secrets.
But what about the software?
Additionally, once a month we are going to review some of the best tools out there for Executive Assistants, and we´ll provide you with our honest feedback. I´m basically a troglodyte when it comes to technology, so I can guarantee that if I think it´s user friendly, so will you. And because we don´t want to be working in a vacuum (because it reminds me of cleaning and I hate that), we´ll be polling you to find out what characteristics you´re most interested in for each tool. We´ll introduce some of the more popular requirements, but also give you the option of adding your own choices.
What else have you got for me?
As always, we are incredibly open to what YOU want from this website. It´s not about us and we´re honestly not that precious about things. Tell us exactly what you´d like to see (Chris Hemsworth pictures aren´t a definite no) and we´ll do our best to make sure we can provide it. From resources, to training, to booking links, to cocktail bar listings, we can set it up, just say the word!
Our singular aim is to make this the best place for all of you. To be the Taylor Swift of the EA world so to speak. We´ll get there, and in the meantime, I´ll be practicing my dance moves.
